     This is achieved by delivering group physical activity sessions to older adults in Nursing Homes, Day Care Centres, in the Community or on a one to one basis with sessions adapted to suit each participant’s needs.

 

Nursing Homes

     Light chair based exercised and games tailored to suit the needs of residents. Exercises and games will help increase participants independence and autonomy whilst improving. Other recorded benefits include improved coordination, balance and memory. Many studies document the positive impact adapted physical exercises have not only on an older person’s physical health but also their mental and social health.

 

Day Care Centres

     Seated chair based adapted physical exercises and games are perfect for building gradual strength and fitness. Main benefits from this class are increased strength, improved flexibility, mobility, coordination, proprioception, balance and cardiovascular fitness. A fun and enjoyable way to exercise!

             

Active Retirement Groups and Community

    There are two options for active retirement groups, light chair based exercises or standing and seated fall prevention exercises. Light chair based adapted physical exercises and games are perfect for building gradual strength and fitness. Fall prevention exercises use a combination of seated and standing exercises to build strength, fitness, improve balance, coordination, flexibility, mobility.

One to One

     A personalised and adapted training could be what suits you best. You would have here the opportunity to come to our facility or the trainer comes to you. In this last option, the trainer can observe your environnement, your daily routine and use what surround you to improve your day to day life.
